This is my first post in my blogging journey. My aim with the establishment of this blog is to detail my thoughts on investing ideas as a way of keeping myself accountable and to learn from mistakes.
Most of the ideas discussed will typically be small to mid cap companies. These companies tend to have less moving parts and are easier to analyse. As widely documented they also tend to be more inefficient as there is less investor coverage due to mandate restrictions etc.
Focusing on areas which may be overlooked naturally gives the personal investor an advantage. These companies can also be relatively illiquid, thereby providing barriers to entry for institutional investors.
